Technical Sales Associate


Position Title:  Technical Sales Associate 

Reports To:  V.P. Sales

Summary of Duties:

Manages relationships with new and prospective customers to ensure timely and professional customer service, compliance with contractual obligations, and timely identification of problems and solutions.

Ensure continued sales of traditional products as well as growth from new, strategic and custom products.

Develop and execute annual sales plan for assigned and prospective customer accounts and to report progress, or issues, on a weekly basis, at departmental sales meetings.  Additionally, identify and build relationships at customer locations to influence business decisions.

Participate in industry trade shows, as required.

Set up customer visits, as required.

Other duties as required by management.

 

Education/Training/Experience:

College Degree (Bachelors Level) or equivalent working experience.

Oil field or downhole completion knowledge with experience preferred.

Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel.

Experience with Sage100 software a plus.

 

Job Skills/Tools Required:

Proficiency in D&L Oil Tools complete product and service offerings and knowledge of competitive products and industry applications.

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

 

Personal Skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills

Positive attitude
